When the father of bride takes responsibility for booking the wedding band it can lead to a few nerves…will his idea of a brilliant ceilidh band match the bride and groom’s ideal wedding band? In this case there was nothing to worry about: it seems dad Des has a knack for selecting the perfect band for Sarah and Jonny! The happy couple were delighted with our sound, energy and variety. And the guests were loving the Jiggered experience! And we even lined up a booking with a Scottish celebrity for 2014 (more of that in a future blog but suffice to say Raymie and Ewan especially were star struck!).

Madderty Community Hall is a beautiful wee venue. When we arrived the sun was still shining- Emma took the opportunity to get this photo taken next to this creepy benchmate! And we were treated to ice cream and strawberries…The ideal start to what was an excellent ceilidh.
