Aberdeen Wedding

Hope all you Jiggered fans are enjoying this glorious weather we’re having! The holiday mood has spread across Scotland and it’s a welcome sight. Last night we were back at the luxurious Ardoe House in Aberdeen…the newly married Mr and Mrs Gardiner had booked us up after hearing us play at a few of their friends’ weddings and it was a pleasure to play for them!

Guest caller Jenny was excited to hear we were kicking things off with a Grand March- it was enormous and looked very impressive. Then we played 1000 miles for the bride and groom’s first dance. With us only getting started about 10pm we had to cram a LOT into our short set but everything was really well received by this enthusiastic crowd!

The banter in the band before the gig was, as ever, scintillating. Hot topics included phone contract, how many babies is too many babies, Raymie’s dress sense and the best way to get to Homebase.

Got a double wedding next weekend- woohoo!
