Wedding in Dundee

Jiggered Ceilidh Band arrived back home in the early hours of Sunday morning, after a trip up to Dundee for a wedding at Piperdam. The bride and groom currently live in Germany but had returned to his hometown to get hitched. They came across Jiggered’s website and loved the look of the site and the sound samples too. High praise since the groom, Gavin Brady, is an accomplished professional pianist!

I’ll readily admit I was a wee bit nervous about playing piano in front of someone of Gav’s talent but I needn’t have worried- the bride and groom were both instant fans of Jiggered and loved our sound. So even when Gavin and his friend took over the piano and violin for a brilliant duet it was all in true ceilidh spirit…appreciating good music even if our styles were quite different!
