Wedding At Piersland House

It was a real treat to play at Iain and Kirsten’s special day- the couple had their wedding reception at the Piersland in Troon (a venue we’ve played at many times). The evening kicked off with the cutting of the cake(s). At this wedding, one cake wouldn’t do- there were a host of cakes on offer! 

The newlyweds had chosen Paramore’s “I’m into you” for their first dance- Emma did a beautiful version of this. This was quickly followed by a dad-daughter dance to Carrie Underwood’s “The girl you think I am”. After the preliminaries, the ceilidh was soon in full swing! We had a great night, and it seemed that the guests did too as they danced along to ceilidh and covers all night.

At the end of the evening Kirsten came over to thank us for the music…Happy bride? Mission accomplished!
