Wedding at Fingask Castle

First wedding of 2014 for Jiggered Ceilidh Band was at Fingask Castle, outside Perth. When we arrived the meal was still being finished off (the hog roast had been a massive hit with the guests- only a few bones left!). Speeches followed and we got started about 10pm.

Apart from a short break for cake and the odd breather while Emma excelled in her role as lost property manager (anyone lost a hairpin/”cheese knife”/keycard…) it was a jam-packed evening of ceilidh action. The crowd were superb- totally up for every dance and we had a brilliant time.

The end of the evening finished with the bar staff joining in the Orchadian Strip the Willow! And the bride and groom gave us some chocolates at the end of the night! Thanks guys.

In other news: during the break we discussed Ewan’s future in extreme sports, and whether he was just in it for the prophet.
