Leaving Do in Kilmarnock

Ceilidhing can be a dangerous hobby. Energetic dancing can lead to bruises, bumps and grazes as folk clatter about on the dance floor. Tonight it was burns that were unavoidable at this ceilidh. Thankfully it was the Burns family who were the star attraction. David, Esther and their lovely family are leaving Kilmarnock to start a new life much further up north. Their friends at Central Evnagelical Church had organised a fantastic leaving do for them and the evening was simply brilliant.

It was brilliant seeing so many familiar faces. Young kids spilled onto the floor in between each dance to play tig, to emulate their World Cup heros and to dance about. The buffet was super and their was even a Burns-themed quiz to get the brains in gear.
