Kirknewton Stables for Wedding

Last night reminded me that Jiggered Ceilidh Band are a well-oiled machine, well worth considering if you’re getting married or need a ceilidh band for your event.

• Although we’ll arrive at least 45 minutes before we are due to start, if the venue has reasonable access we are usually set up within 20 minutes which minimises “dead time” between your wedding meal and the evening reception (and we’ll be out of your way at the end of the evening in under 10 minute)

• If you have specific requests such as specific songs, or dances, or unusual set lengths or particular costume theme we’ll do our best to accommodate them (for example last night bride and groom Nick and Rebecca wanted us to play some of their favourite tunes: Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”, Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” and Outkast’s “Hey Ya”…that was fun)

• We offer good value-for-money. Our lineup offers you four experienced musicians, a caller to explain all dances and a memorable evening of ceilidh (with covers too, to allow you a chance to have a break between energetic ceilidh dances)

• You’ll find us efficient on the evening and in correspondence during the booking and organisation process

• Our latest ceilidh was for the new Mr and Mrs Mitchell, at the brilliant Kirknewton Stables. It was a great evening with our three sets interspersed with the couple’s other favourite tunes on their playlist.
