Jiggered Play Their First Pink Hotel!
Last night Jiggered headed to the Roman Camp Hotel, Callander for a second consecutive night of ceilidhing. It was our first time at this venue and we were all impressed by the riverside setting, homely interiors…and of course the pink paint!! Something to do with the hotel name?!
This time it was the wedding of Tim and Kirsten Lochhead and it was great for me personally to see so many friends, family and familiar faces. The dance floor was full for every dance, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It’s safe to say that Tim, Kirsten and their guests have set the standard high for the rest of this summer’s Jiggered wedding ceilidhs!
Big thanks to Stephen Watson who graced the Keys for the 3rd and final time this week and took things to a whole new level! Raymie Watson also made his Violin comeback and will be out with us again this Saturday as Jiggered head back west side to the Piersland House, Troon.
And finally, some sad news. Chris gets back from Ibiza this Saturday and will be re-claiming his position as first pianist, which means my short-lived blog writing career has now come to an end. Thanks for reading!
