This was a belter of a ceilidh!

Tom and Clare were getting married in St John’s Town of Dalry (near Castle Douglas). The Town Hall was a lovely venue for their big day. And it was a joy to be involved!

The new Mr and Mrs Carpenter danced their first dance to our version of Sam Cooke’s “What a wonderful world”. Gemma did a brilliant job with this and I managed to grudgingly sign the lyrics “don’t know much about trigonometry….don’t know much about algebra….don’t know what a slide rule is for” (don’t tell pupils from my Maths class about this!!).

Great music. Great venue. Great atmosphere. And Tom coordinated a round of applause for us at the end of the evening. Another happy Jiggered customer!

All the best for the future Tom and Clare.
