Another Wedding at Sherbrooke Castle

Sherbrooke Castle is a venue that Jiggered have played at many times over the years. It’s recently been renovated and the function room and conservatory area were looking better than ever last night!

It was the wedding of Ali and Tanika- the wedding had loads of personal touches and wee surprises. The beautiful Tanika had baked a cake for birthday boy Ali, her dad sang her a song, Tanika and father-of-the-groom John performed a dance to “Son of a Preacher Man”….

The couple had arranged for many other memorable mementos including photo opportunities, pictures to sign, guest books. Jiggered left their own wee message for the couple on one of the fill-in-the-blank sheets (see photo).

It was a great night. Dancing, good food (I was ready for the buffet, as Ewan and Emma will testify to). The evening ended with an encore of the couple’s first dance request: Ellie Goulding’s “How Long Will I Love You”, which looks set to become a new Jiggered favourite!
