Emma’s childhood friend Louise was marrying Joshua and they called upon Jiggered Ceilidh Band to provide the ceilidh action to round off their fantastic wedding day. They asked us to play “Can’t take my eyes off you” for their first dance…for such a wedding classic it was strange we’d never done it before. Emma did a great job!

Loads of people chatted to us at the break and during the evening to say how much they enjoyed the Jiggered sound- always nice to hear! And Ewan deviated slightly from his diet to tuck into some of the wedding cake (made by the bride). Ewan declared it the best chocolate cake he ever tried at a wedding (no mean feat since we’ve been doing these for 11 years) and is determined to get the recipe!
