It was an enormous pleasure for Jiggered Ceilidh Band to be playing at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow this weekend. This beautiful venue has a fine heritage in Scottish music so it was brilliant to add Jiggered’s name to the list of national stars who’ve performed there.

When Ruth had booked us to play at her wedding, she’d asked for two simple requests: that we provide a 2 hour set of ceilidh before DJ Danny took over and that we learn Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere for her first dance. Jiggered’s version of Everywhere went down a storm (particularly with the bride and groom) and it was the start of a very fun night for us.

Thanks to the tech team and roadies at the Old Fruitmarket who treated us very well. Also I might upload footage from tonight’s ceilidh onto Youtube- keep your eyes peeled for that!
