"The best ceilidh I have ever been to"

Friday night saw the first of 2 gigs this weekend and it was back to where it all began for Jiggered Ceilidh Band. Strathclyde Christian Union holds a special place in our hearts, as that was where Jiggered first formed back in 2002! So we were delighted to be able to play for this year's Strathy CU Freshers' Ceilidh at Glasgow City Church.

After some technical difficulties with a circuit board, and an excellent talk from UCCF Staff Worker Lucy, the ceilidh got into full swing. This lot were up for every single dance of our jam packed set and seemed to have boundless energy. At the end of the night we were greeted with some lovely feedback.

It was an honour to play for this crowd and we hope we'll be back again soon.
