Prom season is here and young folk all over Scotland are getting their glamorous gowns, suave suits and killer kilts ready to impress on the big finale to their school journey. Jiggered Ceilidh Band have performed at loads of school events and proms are such a brilliant celebration- a ceilidh is perfect!

Sgoil Ghàidlig Ghlaschu (Glasgow Gaelic School) had their prom at Boclair House Hotel. It’s a beautiful venue and the ideal setting for a fancy do. The students (and teachers) scrubbed up well and were really up for a party- we even had one join us in a cracking rendition of the floor-filling ‘Valerie’.
