Jiggered End Ceilidh Drought
Maybe “drought” is a bit of an exaggeration- but two weekends off is a rarity these days for Jiggered Ceilidh Band. We’re approaching 10 years of providing ceilidhs and are as busy as ever!
This weekend we visited East KIlbride (the Murray Owen Centre to be precise) to play a ceilidh for Susan’s friend Heather who was organising a fundraiser to raise money for a couple of worthy causes. Both were geared towards helping out folk in Africa. The night was a great success with a heap of money raised. The buffet was superb- honestly still stuffed almost 24hrs on! It was also nice to see Ewan being dragged onto the floor for a waltz (good job Karen)!
