Jiggered’s latest ceilidh was in Troon Concert Hall (a brilliant venue for a big party). This time round we were playing for the lovely Isla who combined her 30th birthday celebrations with an opportunity to add to her impressive charity efforts. She’s already raised a load of money for Alzheimer’s Scotland…hopefully the ceilidh adds lots more to that worthwhile cause!

The evening was a huge success. Isla’s friends and family had turned out in their droves, her mum (Helen) had organised a silent auction, the food was great and everyone had a brilliant evening.

Isla couldn’t have been more chuffed at the end of the night- if you’re looking for a band testimonial please ask Isla, a new lifelong Jiggered fan! Thanks also to my colleague Hollie (Isla’s buddy) who got us the gig!

Another great shift from Ellyn (banter, classy vocals and the Altogether) and Raymie (who has mastered even our new fiendishly difficult ceilidh tunes).
