A Belter At The Balmoral!

Ceilidh number 2 of the weekend was a special one for us at it was our first time performing at The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh. It was an extra special day for Deanna and Alex whose big day we were there to help celebrate.

Being in the heart of Scotland’s capital city, looking out to Edinburgh Castle, some traditional Scottish music felt extremely appropriate. That being said, Deanna and her family and friends are from a bit further west (the USA, to be specific), so The Balmoral was also treated to some good old fashioned Texan line dancing!

We had an amazing night and loved playing for this friendly bunch. It seemed like everyone had a great night, but don’t just take our word for it - here’s some (very kind) words from the beautiful bride herself:

We hired Jiggered for our wedding in Edinburgh and are still grinning about how much fun we had. The dance floor was nearly full throughout the entire night. Many of our guests have told us how much they loved listening to them play, and they exceeded my expectations. They are also so friendly and helpful. We had an American/Scottish wedding and I was weary about how a ceilidh would go down— but our American guests who had never ceilidh danced especially had an amazing time. Thanks for everything!
