As wedding guests start to arrive, there’s a gentle buzz around the room with chatter about the ceremony highlights, favourite courses from the meal, reminiscing with old friends and rarely seen family members. Meanwhile, the band are psyching themselves up for the first dance.

On this occasion the bride and groom have selected “Dream a little dream of me” as their first dance as a married couple. Josh and Kathryn were gliding across the dancefloor almost before the first notes of our introduction begun. By the end of the song, other members of the bridal party had been roped in and this was just the beginning of an entire evening of enthusiastic floor-filled action.

Another brilliant wedding at a top, top venue! Balbirnie is wonderful for a load of reasons, not least because the access for carting speakers and drums in is right next to where we park our cars!
