Jiggered Ceilidh Band were playing at the Piersland Hotel, Troon last night. Lawrie and Alaina were getting married- the service was in Stair Church and the meal and reception were at Piersland. Alaina’s an old uni pal of Chris. So Chris and the Smith clan (Elaine, Daisy, Heidi and Logan) were all at the wedding and had a fab time! Alaina had recorded her own version of Jason Mraz’ “I’m Yours” and this was played during the signing of the register. It was a really nice touch and Alaina’s voice was beautiful!

Alaina and Lawrie had asked if we would do “You got the Love” (Florence and the Machine) for their first dance. This seemed like an unusual request but the song worked really well with Jenny singing and weirdly we were phoned the same night from another future client asking if we would manage to play the same song at their wedding!!
