A Sehr Gut Party In Perthshire!
It was our first time performing at Errol Park, Perthshire and the venue absolutely matched the loveliness of the happy couple who booked us up for their special day.
Sam and Pauli kicked off the evening party with their first dance which featured our rendition of ‘The Road to Dundee’ - a traditional Scottish folk ballad and their granny’s favourite!
The dance floor was absolutely packed out and it was a fantastic sight of Kilts and Lederhosens aplenty - the latter thanks to a large, enthusiastic German contingent of the wedding party.
We packed in as many dances as we possibly could before handing over to the DJ to take them into the wee hours. Sam and Pauli seemed to be happy going by their lovely email afterwards:
You guys were incredible. I was wondering whether anyone would have the enthusiasm for it given the hear, but you brought so much energy to it, yet also patience, and it was just brilliant. Everyone, and especially those how had never danced a ceilidh before, had a superb time, and personally I don’t think I’ve ever sweated so much in my life. Thanks for being a part of it!
Some night! All the best Sam and Pauli and thanks again for having us.
